Angela Copeland was first introduced to yoga and Pilates 15 years ago when she took classes at her local gym when she lived in Alabama. She was immediately hooked. Pilates and yoga increased her body awareness, reduced stress and improved her strength, balance and flexibility. Feeling the difference the methods made for her, she decided to share it with others.
Angela earned her Pilates Mat Certification through Body Arts and Science International (BASI) in 2008 and her Pilates Comprehensive (equipment) Certification in 2009. In 2010 she earned her hatha yoga certification. Angela’s next goal is to become a nutrition coach. She also holds a bachelor's degree in journalism and public relations as well as a master's degree in teaching (emphasis in English).
Outside her wellness work, Angela has been communication and media relations director for public sector entities such as public radio, public school districts and municipalities. |
