Karen is formerly a Nationally ranked Figure Skater from Canada.  Putting her first pair of skates on at the age of 2, she never looked back.   Karen began her competitive career at the age of 7 and she ultimately became a member of the Canadian National Figure Skating team in the 1980’s.

Karen is a performer at heart.  Zumba and it’s Latin-based rhythms and dance moves are infectious.  They have sparked a renewed love for her staying motivated and focused at the gym/dance studio.
